Our 6-hour Confined Space Entry Safety Training course is tailored specifically for the Competent Person, and the curriculum focuses on the key responsibilities outlined in OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart AA: Confined Spaces in Construction. The training will provide in-depth knowledge of confined space hazards, permit procedures, and how to conduct inspections and ensure safety during entry. Here is how these topics are covered: 1. Introduction to OSHA Confined Space Standards and the Role of the Competent Person 2. Identification and Evaluation of Confined Spaces 3. Permit Space Reclassification and Entry Permit Process 4. Testing and Monitoring of Confined Space Conditions 5. Hazard Control and Corrective Actions 6. Safe Access and Egress Procedures 7. Permit Space Communication and Coordination 8. Response to Changing Conditions and Emergency Preparedness 9. Rescue and Emergency Procedures 10. Review and Assessment At the end of this 6-hour course, the Competent Person will have the knowledge and practical skills to effectively oversee confined space entry operations, identify and mitigate hazards, coordinate with contractors, and respond to emergencies.
